  • We sent home the 2011-2012 registration forms last week. If you register before 6/12, you will get the same discount as last year’s. However, if you register after 6/12 the price will be higher.  We encourage you to register now to not only show your support but also help us to better plan for the 2011-2012 year.
  • Volunteers are wanted for teaching and management positions. Please sign up with Vice Principal Celia Lee (clee.tcls@gmail.com.) if you would like to help.
  • The 5/8 open house flyer is available for download from our website. Student recurring is viable for the health of the school operation. Please show your support and forward the event information to your communities and friends.
  •  Our school will have a booth in the 5/7 Newton Taiwan Day featuring the traditional art and crafts. For the event information, please see the event list below.

    • Parents on duty should report to the Office (Room 243) at 1:45pm. If you cannot come, please contact Vice Principal, Celia Lee(508-337-6071,clee.tcls@gmail.com.).There is a $50 fine for absence without prior notice to the Vice Principal.

  • K3 had a story telling contest on 1/30. Students recited the story of ‘Two Dogs’. Jeffrey Wang won the first place and Eric Lo came in second.  I’m not sure how I missed it but I know they all did a great job.

 

  • Quizlet is a popular online memorization tool for language learning. We are glad to announce that we have made Quizlet available for all the G1 to G7 lessons in flash cards, games and tests. You can find the Quizlet lessons from our website in the Classes page and we encourage parents to practice with your children. Please note that our Quizlet lessons are password protected and the password is ‘tcls’.

 

Newton Taiwan Day – 5/7

 On Saturday, 5/7, the Culture Center of Taipei Economic Culture Office in Boston will sponsor the Newton Taiwan Day featuring Chinese traditional performances, art & crafts, food and many cultural activities. Admission is free. For the highlights, please see here.
