• Snow Day Policy:   Once the principal and vice-principal have determined that school will be cancelled due to snow, they will notify the school staff and teachers.  Each teacher will then immediately contact all the students in his or her class.  We will try our best to have everyone notified 3-4 hours before the normal school start time. If in doubt, please check the school website for the latest information and look for a special newsletter in your email.
   
• The school calendar incorrectly lists March 22 as Easter Sunday.  It is actually a regular school day for us; we will have class on March 22.

Parent Duty Assignment

One parent from each family should report to the office (Room 243) at 1:45 pm on each assigned day.  If you cannot attend, please contact Vice-Principal Cho-Li Teng at 781-862-8712 (choli_teng@hotmail.com) or Kai Chuang at 781-863-8213 (kaiyao_chuang@yahoo.com.) 

There is a $50 fine for absence without prior notice to the vice-principal. 

After fulfilling your parent duty on the second week, please remember to pick up your deposit check in the office at 4:00pm. 

Bakery: Susan Bottan

Ensure that your favorite baked goods will be available to enjoy at school or at home by placing a pre-order each week. Order forms are found on the table in the back of the cafeteria. All sales proceeds are used to fund school events and activities. Payment is expected at the time your order is placed.  (Please see Susan Bottan for more information.) 

Other Community Events

The city of Taipei and Taiwan’s Overseas Chinese Affairs office will sponsor a workshop on “The Ancient Ritual of the Feast for Confucius” in Taipei from April 6 to April 8. For more information on cost, and the application process of the workshop, please stops by the school office.
