Newsletter - April 12, 2009
Principal: Andrew Shih
- We will have class this Sunday, April
12, as a makeup for one of our snow days.
- The school plans to host an Open House
event on May 17, 2:30–4:30PM, for potential new students. If you have
friends or children who are interested in visiting the school, please
let them and the school staff know so that we can provide adequate
resources for guided tours.
- TCLS Book Exchange Survey: It was
suggested that our school hold a Book Exchange event to share book
resources among families. Interested parents can contact Ms. Su-Ju
Chen (jshiau1@msn.com).
The school will support the event if there are enough interested
families.
- The school’s Chinese Dance class
students April Chung, Angela Bernard, and Amanda Lee participated in
the American Chinese Art Society’s 4th New England Chinese
Dance Competition on April 4th and won an “Honorable Mention” Award
trophy for the group competition. Elizabeth Shih and Stephanie Chan
each won Second Place in their own dance categories.
