- Thank you for attending the Parent’s Meeting last week. The mission of TCLS is not just to teach the Chinese language, but also to form a cultural community where our children can make friends and forge a healthy ethnic identity. With all your support we can reach our goal and make this a fun place to learn.
- All extracurricular class transfers must be completed by the end of 10/02. After this day, we will not accept any more transfer requests.
- We accept Chinese DVD movie donation. Please bring the DVDs to Susan Tang, the director of Library. To start the list, we have “Together” (和你在一起, Hé nǐ zài yīqǐ, G, by 陳凱歌) as the first DVD.
- The TCLS rents the spaces from the Clarke Middle school between 2:00 and 5:00 pm on Sundays. The spaces include all language classrooms, office, gymnasium, and dedicated bathrooms. If for any reason you need to access the facilities outside this list, please seek the permissions from the office first.
- Bakery items are sold in the cafeteria during recess. Most items are priced at $1.25 or $1.50. You may place special orders for baked goods by completing an order form. Please see Li-Chu Lo for details.
- Please remind your child that s/he can only have their snack in the cafeteria; no food is allowed in classrooms or in the hallway.

- Parents on duty should report to the Office (Room 243) at 1:45pm. If you cannot come, please contact Vice Principal, Celia Lee（508-337-6071，clee.tcls@gmail.com.).There is a $50 fine for absence without prior notice to the Vice Principal.
The Centennial National Day Parade, 10/09, from Chinatown to City Hall
10/10 is the 100th national day of the Republic of China, Taiwan. On 10/9, there will be a celebration at 10 am starts with parade from Chinatown to City Hall and followed by performances of Dragon and Lion dance, drum, folk dance, choir and many others.
Time: October 9, 2011 at 10 AM
Rally Point: Chinatown gateway.
Parade Route: Beach Street to Washington Street and Boston City Hall Plaza.
Flag Raising Ceremony: Boston City Hall.
