- In the teachers’ monthly meeting last week, G5 teacher, Ms. Jennifer Cheng, introduced some interesting teaching and learning tools. Among them, I would like to bring up the MDBG Chinese English Dictionary. It takes Chinese, PinYin, or handwriting inputs with or without Chinese input system installed, which makes it very easy to use. It also has the word decomposition and stroke order functions which help you understand the character structure, and there are more features that you can discover together with your kid.
- We are in the process of publishing the school directory and are looking for sponsorship in the form of business advertisements as well as individual donations. If you know of any potential business advertisers or if you yourself can support this effort, please contact Su-Ju Chen (jshiau1@msn.com).

Concert
- On Saturday November 19 at 7:30PM, the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association Choral Society is going to perform various Chinese and Taiwanese classical folk songs at the Christ Episcopal Church in Needham. The admission is free with the age limit at 6 and up and tickets are available at the office.
