- On behalf of TCLS families, I would like to thank Peggy, Laila and Ali for preparing the Christmas party for the whole school. I would also like to thank the parents who brought food and desserts to the party. Pictures can be found from here.
- School will be closed on the 1/15, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
- Report card I will be sent home this Sunday. Please put your comments and return it back to the teacher next class.
- The School Directory has been distributed one per family. Please stop by at the office if your family has not received a copy yet. We would like to thanks especially to Li-Chu Lo, Su-Ju Chen, Tracy Teng, Mu-Chen Wang, and George Wang who made this possible by making the countless trips to solicit the ads and tremendous amount of time on editing and adjusting the layout.
- We are in the process of preparing for the events of the Cultural day and the Chinese New Year celebration on 1/29 between 2:00 and 5:00pm. The events include food service, arts & crafts booths, games, and performances. The food and prizes are all from donations. If you would like to share a signature dish or dessert, please sign up with Li-Chu Lo (lichu02139@hotmail.com). If you would like to donate a raffle prize, you could just bring it up to the office. Also the classes that host the games will share 50% of the games’ earnings. For game ideas, please contact Peter Lee (leefamlex@yahoo.com). We ask you to invite family and friends to have fun with us and all proceeds will be donated to the school.
- The National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools (NCACLS) will offer a National Preparation SAT II Chinese exam on 3/11/2012 at TCLS. We encourage all our 9th graders to take the test. It is voluntary for the 7th and 8th graders. Students wishing to take the practice test can register from now until 1/29/ 2012 with their teacher. The registration fee is $10, payable to TCLS. Scores will be available by April 30.
- In the event of the inclement weather or snow day the school cancellation will be posted on our website (http://www.thechineselanguageschool.org). You will also be notified via email.

- Parents on duty should report to the Office (Room 243) at 1:45pm. If you cannot come, please contact Vice Principal, Celia Lee(508-337-6071,clee.tcls@gmail.com.).There is a $50 fine for absence without prior notice to the Vice Principal.
