• We had a great success in getting people to play the games on the Culture Day, 1/29. The total earnings were $142. Thanks to TAs, students, and teachers who hosted the games. We decided to give the 100% of the earnings to the classes participated, K1($15), K2($10), G1($11), G2($11), G3($23), G5($11), G6($45), G7($27), G8($14), G9 ($24), Computer Class ($15). Your teacher will discuss with you how best to use it.

• G6 and B3’s class competitions are scheduled for this Sunday, 2/26.

 G6 speech contest, 2:10 – 2:50, room 353.

 G4 speech contest, 3:10 – 3:30, room 349.

 B3 story telling contest, 3:30 – 3:50, room 365.

Parents are welcome to observe.

• The Grade 2 story telling competition was held on 2/12. All students performed well in a close race. Kira Tang won the first place, Katrina Tsao won the second place, and Abigail Lee, Melina Lian, and Angela Busard shared the third place. Congratulations!

• The National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools (NCACLS) will offer a National Preparation SAT II Chinese exam on 3/11/2012 at TCLS. Scores will be available by April 30.

• In the event of the inclement weather or snow day the school cancellation will be posted on our website (http://www.thechineselanguageschool.org). You will also be notified via email.

• Parents on duty should report to the Office (Room 243) at 1:45pm. If you cannot come, please contact Vice Principal, Celia Lee(508-337-6071,clee.tcls@gmail.com.).There is a $50 fine for absence without prior notice to the Vice Principal.
