• Ryan Lee competed in the NEACS Yo-Yo Contest on Sunday, 5/6, see news. Congratulations to Ryan who won the 2nd place in free style the 3rd place in speed contest.
• Election Day is this Sunday! I may disappoint you since there is no new Principal candidate. I’ll continue to run the school till we find my replacement. The good news is Jamie Wu, the first year student parent, kindly agreed to join the School Board to guide every aspect of our school operation. The ballot is in the office. Please show your support and come to vote.
• The Graduation Day is 6/10. The celebration will start with lunch and Academic displays at 12:00, and the graduation ceremony at 1:30. Raffle donations are welcomed. Please bring your donation for the gifts to the office.
• There will be no school on Memorial Sunday, 5/27.
• The 2012-2013 registration has started. Register before 6/10 to get an early registration discount. Pleas also note that there are some curricular changes for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year.
o Bilingual program will be reorganized as family classes in levels 1 to 5.
o G8 and G9 will use 美洲華語 as the primary textbook.
o Two new extracurricular programs will be introduced – Java Programming and Photography (3:10 – 4:00 for adults and 4:10 – 5:00 for students or families).
