  • Room 305 will be on computer service this Sunday. K1 will be moved to Room 353 for the day.
  • G6’s “Books and Cookies” time has been rescheduled to 1/6 due to Christmas party.
  • Ms. Peggy Gundal is kindly to offer Christmas dinner again this year which includes turkey and gravy, rice, corn, carrots, and cranberry sauce. If you can donate drink or desert, please email to Celia, clee.tcls@gmail.com. Food will be served between 2:45 and 3:15 in the cafeteria. All are welcome but to avoid traffic, please follow the serving schedule:

2:45 – K1 – K3 and teachers

2:50 – G1- G3, B1 – B3 and teachers

2:55 – G4 – G6, B4 and teachers

3:00 – G7, G8, G9, A2 and teachers

3:05 – Parents

 

  • If you have not yet ordered the holiday food specials, you can still buy them from the bakery after 3:00. Limited quantities and first come first serve.

• Bamboo wrapped rice with meat or in vegetarian style (肉粽/素粽) – 1 for $3.5 and 3 for $10

• Tofu skins (豆腐皮) – $8 for a box

• Pan fried Bums (生煎包) – $8 for a box with 4 bums

• Meat soup (肉羹) – $10 for a box.

 

  • TCLS is organized by volunteers and the major part of the school funding is from your donations. Please contact Doris, doris_schirmacher@hotmail.com, to make a donation and all donations are tax deductible.
  • No school on 12/23 and 12/30. Happy Holidays!
  • In the event of the inclement weather or snow day the school cancellation will be posted on our website (http://www.thechineselanguageschool.org). You will also be notified via email.

MIT Cambridge Chinese Choral Society’s 2012 Winter Concert


December 15th, 2012 at 7:30 PM at MIT Kresge Little Theater,

Admission is free. Seating is limited, please arrive early.

Mozart and Hsü Chih-mo, one from the west and one from the east, have deeply influenced their own society by music and literary. This concert will demonstrate the essence of their history with Mozart’s classical pieces and Hsü Chih-mo’s poetic rearrangement. In addition, Chinese folk and classical songs will also be presented as MIT CCCS’ finest.
