  • We’ll be offering special order of the traditional Chinese food. Please pay in advance while ordering through bakery, Li-Chu Lo (lichu02139@hotmail.com), and pick up on 5/5. Food items include:

Bamboo wrapped rice with meat 肉粽 (3) for $10 and $3.5 each

Tofu skins 豆腐皮 $8/box

Meat soup 肉羹湯 $10/jar (1 QT)

Pan fried Bums生煎包 $8/box (4 in a box)

Spiced sticky rice糯米飯 $6/box

 

  • New England Association of Chinese Schools (NEACS) is hosting the annual speech, typing and culture contests on 4/27 and yo-yo contest on 4/28. The school will subsidize the registration fee.

On Saturday, 5/4, the Culture Center of Taipei Economic Culture Office in Boston will sponsor the Newton Taiwan Day featuring Chinese traditional performances, art & crafts, food and many cultural activities.
