From Principal Shawn Liu
- We are in the process of preparing for the events of the Cultural day and the Chinese New Year celebration, scheduled for 2/6 between 2:00 and 4:30pm. The events include food service, curriculum display, games, and performances. The food and prizes are all from donations. If you would like to share a signature dish or desert, please sign up with Su-Ju Chen (jshiau1@msn.com). If you would like to donate a raffle prize, you can just bring it to the office. Also the classes that host the games will share 50% of the games’ earnings. For game ideas, please contact Terry Hsu (terryhsu@verizon.net).
Tickets for food/games (4 for $1) and raffles (1 for $5, 3 for $10, 7 for $20) will be pre-sold in the Office this Sunday. We encourage you to get them this week to avoid the long line on Cultural Day. There will be no refund for unused tickets. We ask you to invite family and friends to have fun with us. All proceeds will be donated to the school.
- On 2/13, Mr. Kaibin Wu will be hosting a seminar on “How to save the retirement money” at the cafeteria between 2:15 and 3:00.
