  • The Cultural Day and Chinese New Year Celebration was a great success. We would like to thank board, staff, teachers, students, and parents who helped to make this happen. We also greatly appreciate the participation from all of you. We wish everyone a very happy and prosperous Year of the Rabbit. Rabbit, 兔[Tù], is pronounced as ‘Two’.
  • This Sunday, 2/13, Mr. Kaibin Wu will be hosting a seminar on “How to save the retirement money” at the cafeteria between 2:15 and 3:00.

From Extracurricular Director Terry Hsu

  • Our new painting teacher will be starting this Sunday, 2/13, between 4:00 and 5:00 at room 343. All students and parents are welcome to visit the class and talk to the teacher about what will be offered for the semester. Please contact Terry Hsu if you would like to register for the class.

    • Parents on duty should report to the Office (Room 243) at 1:45pm. If you cannot come, please contact Vice Principal, Celia Lee(508-337-6071,clee.tcls@gmail.com.).There is a $50 fine for absence without prior notice to the Vice Principal.

  • Quizlet is a popular online memorization tool for language learning. We are glad to announce that we have made the Quizlet available for all the G1 to G7 lessons in flash cards, games and tests. You can find the Quizlet lessons from our website in the Classes page and we encourage parents to practice with your children. Please note that our Quizlet lessons are password protected and the password is ‘tcls’.

 

  • On March 13, the National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools (NCACLS) will offer a National Preparation Test for the 2011 SAT II Chinese exam.

Test Place: The Chinese Language School, 17 Stedman Rd, Lexington, MA 02421

Scores will be available by April 30.  For further information, please come to the office.

 

2011 New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp
