From Principal Shawn Liu

  • Your child will be bringing home the period III report card this week. Please sign and return it to the teacher next week. We started the report card this year to improve the teacher and parent communication. I would like to know your thought about this review process. You can drop me an email or grab me at the office.
  • Many thanks to the board and staff for their support that almost all of them will stay on course in the 2011-2012 school year. The voting ballot for Principal and Board member will be sent home this week. I am seeking  the second term as the Principal, and the focus for 2011-2012 will be to improve teaching plans and learning experience. Student parent  Li-Chu Lo kindly agreed to join the TCLS School Board to guide every aspect of our school operation.
  • The 2011-2012 registration has started. If you register before 6/12, you will get the same discount as last year’s. However, if you register after 6/12 the price will be higher.  We encourage you to register now to not only show your support but also help us to better plan for the 2011-2012 year.
  • Our school needs more new parents to join the teaching and administration staff next school year. If you are interested in teaching, school administration, or have any specialty in extra-curricular activities (such as arts & crafts, sports, painting, music, etc.), please sign up with Vice Principal Celia Lee (clee.tcls@gmail.com.).
  • There are more than 1,000 people visited 5/7 Newton’s Taiwan and many of them visited our booth, see pictures above. Many thanks to the teachers and parents who helped on that day
